Shabu-Shabu Utensils


Roughly translated as “swish-swish,” shabu-shabu is a type of Japanese stew. Very thin meat or vegetables are dropped into a boiling kelp based broth. The cooked meat and/or vegetables are then dipped into ponzu sauce or sesames seeds and eaten with steamed white rice.
