Pig Catapult

In Chinese culture, due to its fast growth and reproductive power the pig symbolizes food, wealth, and prosperity, all of which are essential for the upkeep of the family. The Chinese character for family or home is made up of strokes that resemble a picture of a pig under the roof. Pigs were also thought to be efficient guardians of children. On February 18, 2007, celebrate the Year of the Pig with our Pig Catapult.
