The tabi are popular among traditional Japanese dancers and theater artists. The vinyl sole bottom of the tabi protects their feet since Japanese shoes are not normally worn during performances. Tabi socks are purchased to the exact fit of the person's feet in inches. To find your size, stand on a piece of paper and make an outline of your bare foot, with your pencil ALWAYS PERPENDICULAR to the floor. This will allow room for your heel. Measure the drawing from the tip of your longest toe to the end of your heel. If you are in-between sizes purchase the next size up. MEDIUM width only. These tabi may not fit a wider foot.
