How Each Natural Leaf Flower Light's Petal is Made
Each petal, or leaf, that makes up these natural leaf flower lights is also known as skeleton leaf or ghost leaf, and individually collected by hand by Thai village farmers, placed in the river, and soaked for weeks to decompose naturally and turn into pulp.
Once the flesh of the leaf has loosened, it is then rubbed off with a brush, so what is left behind is only each leaf's natural rib or skeleton. The remaining skeleton leaves are then dried under the sunlight, sorted into different sizes, dyed in various colors, dried again for days, and wrapped onto each string light to create this beautiful flower party light.
