Offering the brightest amount of light among our selection, Ecobulb is a high-performing compact fluorescent decorative replacement lamp and uses just a mere 3 watts to cast the equivalent light output of 15 to 20-watt standard light bulbs, or 7 watts to cast the same amount of light like the 40-watt standard light bulbs. Safety Precautions in Using Light Bulbs for Paper Lanterns
Carefully unpack your lantern lights from their package as they are covered with glass, which may break when dropped or roughly handled.
Always screw and unscrew each light bulb by its base.
Use low-wattage bulbs or low-heating bulbs for paper lanterns, especially with rice paper lanterns and eyelet lanterns, as they are made of very delicate paper materials.
Ensure that a lantern's light bulb hangs steadily from its lamp socket and that at no time can the lantern light bulb touch the delicate paper material covering when lit, or the lantern light bulb may transfer heat to the latter and pose the risk for fire.
At the first signs of odor, erratic behavior, or smell from your paper lantern lamp or lantern light string, disconnect it from its power source and allow the lantern light bulb to cool before unscrewing it from its socket.
Install electrical wiring properly and never leave your paper lantern lights unattended when lit, or illumined for too long.
