Giant Golden Chinese Drum

Also known as the Gu in China, the drum has always been a symbol for the destiny of the army and the power of the ruler. Along with gongs and cymbals, this giant drum is often seen and heard during all types of Chinese ceremonies and festivities, such as the Lion and Dragon Dances. Celebrate Chinese culture with this Chinese drum. Leather membrane stretched over a hollow wooden body. Attached at the side are 4 brass rings. Hand crafted and painted. Includes a pair of large 12" drumsticks. Drum measures 24" diameter x 24" height. Weighs 52 lbs.
