Chinese Dragon

In Chinese mythology dragons are legendary creatures. Dragons are usually depicted as long, scaled and serpentine creatures with four legs in Chinese art. While Chinese people regard the dragon as symbolic of potent powers that influence water, rain and floods, the westerners regards the dragon as evil. A dragon is yang (male) while a Chinese phoenix is yin (female). The West associates dragon with China though in China its not so. The Chinese dragon represents power, strength and good luck.

How the Chinese Dragon Looks Like

The Chinese dragon is said to be made up of different animals of the earth. It has the head of a camel and scales made from carp fish. The dragon has the eyes of a hare and Horns of a giant stag, ears of a bull, neck of a snake, belly of a clam, tiger paws and claws of an eagle.
