Tabi socks are made of cotton and have a sole bottom with clasps on the back. The term tabi boot was started by westerners since the socks go past the ankle and resemble boots. The tabi are popular among traditional Japanese dancers and theater artists. The cotton sole protects their feet since Japanese shoes are not normally worn during performances. Unisex. Hand wash in cold water & line dry.

To find your size, stand on a piece of paper and make an outline of your bare foot, with your pencil ALWAYS PERPENDICULAR to the floor. This will allow room for your heel. Measure the drawing from the tip of your longest toe to the end of your heel. If you are in-between sizes purchase the next size up. MEDIUM width only. These tabi may not fit a wider foot.
